On our first night/day in Bali, we booked a family suite with breakfast in this resort. It’s a refreshing and relaxing ambiance because of it’s location. You can really feel that you are in a holiday far from the busy and noise of city life.
The receptionist and their staff were accommodating and friendly. They assist the guest very well. They have a free tour within the Ubud rice field area and temples, just approach them on the timing if you want it in the morning or afternoon.
They have a buffet breakfast that consist of a tropical and typical Indonesian food. We tried the Mee Goreng, some bread, fruits and juices.
Please see my rating below as 1 star for the least or unsatisfactory and 5 star is the most satisfactory feeling for me. Overall its a 5-star.
On our second day trip in Bali, we stayed in this cute and comfortable backpacker house. It’s Bali Bee House, a unique place that looks like you are a tiny bee behaving on their hives.
The place is clean and neat. The people are very accommodating. Their food is nice too and also their coffee. There were no nearest restaurant or bar but they cater some Indonesian food that you can order. We tried the bintang beer here. Our accommodation included the breakfast,
I really like the ambiance. This place is for friends who wants to chill and it’s like you got a time travel. Their decorations were things before from their furnitures to kitchenwares. It’s like a mini museum for me that you can see the history and culture of Bali as a “kampong” or village.
Please see my rating below as 1 star for the least or unsatisfactory and 5 star is the most satisfactory feeling for me. Overall its a 4-star.
You cannot see the whole picture in a piece of a puzzle unless you finish putting it all together.
I never know that this is one of the places that “must-go” in Tagaytay until my best friend and her daughter introduce it to me.
Tagaytay Puzzle Mansion has been recognized by Guinness as the biggest collection of jigsaw puzzle in the world. Ms. Georginal Gil – Lacuna is the puzzle collector. It’s all started when she bought a “Mickey Mouse” 5,000 pieces jigsaw puzzle for her son Gino. From there on they collected and finished around 1,000 plus puzzles and put it in a museum.
Jigsaw puzzle is one of the educational toys for kids or even adults. It will give you a creativity and patience on putting the pieces one by one. Once you finish it will give you happiness that you already see your masterpiece. Yes, it is a time consuming game but you will learn a lot in playing this.
How to go there? From Olivarez, we ride a jeep going to Mendez and ask the Driver that we need to alight to Brgy Asasin the drop off point for the Tagaytay Puzzle Mansion. Then there’s a line of tricycles that going through the Cuadra Street. The street going to the place is quite steep but you can also walk going down. There is an entrance fee of Php100.
The next time you are going to Tagaytay do not forget to see this museum.
And if you are looking for some puzzle challenges they are selling also and you can check their fb page, below is the link.
