Found Unexpectedly

Last year, I’m about to go to my grandson’s birthday party and the only way I can go will be the Jeepney from Quiapo area going to Balic Balic because I came from Taft Ave, and to lazy to cross the underpass thinking to buy a cake for him, so I am thinking what gift should I bring until then i bump this quite famous old bakeshop at R. Hidalgo Street.

Bakerite Bakery is up in this area and industry for almost 70 years. They started their business in 1946, whoa.

I remember in my childhood years whenever me and my Tatay was celebrating mass at Quiapo Church we normally buy hopia and some breads here for takeout / takeaway. I can assure you that their cakes, bread and pastries tastes so good, not too sweet.

I recommend this for those tourist who will drop-by in Manila, specially Quiapo area to try and buy some for your friends and families.
