The One Who Loves Me Or The One I Really Love?

Dear Jaz,

I heard your article from my friend, and decided to write you for an advise or insight about love. Which one is important, a person who loves me or a person i love most.

I’m still confuse with this as I came from a broken relationship. I have a partner for almost 10 years but unfortunately our relationship lately is in the rocks. She left me with our kids and she join with another person. Yes there is a 3rd party when I’ m on-board. It’s really a traumatic experience, when you love the most of this person who you thought will be on your side forever but gone because she finds happiness with another one. She told me that kind of reasoning really sucks.

I’m really afraid to jump in a new relationship but I realise that I need to start anew life with my children and I need to look a mother material for them. This decision should think many times and be wise.

Should I choose the one i love or the one who really loves me?

Help! And thank you for giving a time in my letter.

Yours truly,

Dear Chef,

I really appreciate you for being straightforward. There is no certain in this world but world is giving us a choice. What we will do, what we will eat, do we really need to walk or run, who do we love and a lot of things goes on everyday.

Your problem is common to the people who are in love. But the perspective will kicks-in on how do you want to see yourself with that person. Are you willing to sacrifice (your happiness) for her till the end to make her happy and satisfied? Or will you be selfish enough to care for your own happiness.

How do we feel if we choose the one who loves us? Will life be perfect? As they said, look for someone that you know, loves you more than you love her. Because she will do her best to make you happy. She will try to be your world and willing to sacrifice to be with you and your family. But you should not take this for granted.

Or how do we see ourselves if we choose the one we love most? Will life be perfect? Are you willing to give up everything for her? Will you do your best to make her happy? And for how long will you hold or love her?

If you can see, the answer depends on the character of the person. There is no perfect relationship but there are lots of possibilities to make it the partner and life you want it to be. The bottomline is on how will you compromise to each other. And love is not a one way thing, it should be two way. Communication is the key in all aspects of relationship. And being selfish will not help your relationship, you should be considerate enough on how your partner feels. And a lot of things to be consider, not only your feelings. You said you have children, you should prioritise them. You still have your life and career. Your family and your friends that surrounds you.

Whatever you choose if ‘kung mahal ka’ or ‘yung mahal mo’, you can say a little prayer that your decision will deserve for the happiness of both that will last forever.

Sending good vibes in your negative thoughts.

It’s me,

10 Lessons to be Learned in Watching “Third is My First”

This movie is about closure in a relationship. If parting ways with your partner, feels like you are floating in limbo and you didn’t know what’s wrong and what happen, there’s a possibility that you are hoping with that kind of memory and still holding the past. But you should let it go. You can watch this again at netflix.

  1. Being sentimental person is ok but not to the point that you are holding the past like it’s your present but you’ll never realise that it’s not your future.
  2. A person is busy in his / her lifestyle, working and caring with the people surrounds them but deep inside, he / she still longing with something in the past that cannot move on.
  3. Life gets boring if you have routinary things everyday and you will used to it. But it will spice up with your partner to reminisce the happy moments and flare up the flame of love.
  4. It’s not true that if you love somebody and you broke up, you will no longer have feelings with that person. You still care though it’s not that kind of care like before when both of you are in that relationship.
  5. If you really love your spouse you are ready on how heavy the cross you will carry for a lifetime.
  6. There is no perfect relationship. Do not find your happiness with others. Open your mind because someone beside you really wants you, to make you happy.
  7. Sometimes two person are together because they really love each other. Sometimes they are together because they do not have choice and also they are in good terms for each other, as they need each other.
  8. Even you ask yourself many times, if you are happy on the person you have in your side. It will not be enough unless you will act and respond to take good care with each other. A love to a person is like a love to a plant, you need to give sunshine and water everyday. But do not give in 100% of your love to him/her, save some for yourself.
  9. Having an understanding partner is really a blessing and considerate of your happiness, because if you are happy he / she will be happy too.
  10. You will choose and weigh between, when things don’t work out, must be separate and have to move on. And if an old thing that still useful and you know that you can fix and believe that it will re-run again, you must have patience and determination to do it. We can associate this to marriage, if you want it to be last and stick to your wedding vows, do not give up easily, try to fix it and hold on to it. Believe that love and respect will conquer it all.

Hello Monday!!!!

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;”

Isaiah 61:1

My apology that I was not in the circulation for a week or so, it’s quite a busy week for me and got some realisation.

I am not religious enough but with the above scriptures, it’s struck on my mind that I should be a blessing at least to the people that surrounds me. That I should maintain the good things that who I am before. Lead them to be close to God and turn around again to the right path. Be a matchmaker again to those hopelessly romantic people, I was once a matchmaker and an event or wedding coordinator. Or just let them feel that they are free on whatever they want to be as long as they have a dream even we are experiencing an abnormal life in this Covid19 Crisis.

So there you are.. rise up and walk.. we can do better again in this world. Be a blessing to everyone and keep the faith on high!

This is not that typical pandesal with flavor, it’s somehow we can call as trending “quarantine food.” They deliver it hot but I re-heat it in an oven toaster (actually, i love a toasted pandesal) and matched it with a hot milk tea. It’s delicious, the yam jam or ube is not that sweet and when mixed with cheese, perfect for the salty sweet thing inside your mouth.

I am craving for Putobumbong then I saw this in foodpanda, booked and bought together with Bibingka Macapuno Flavor plus Turon. It's a common Filipino snack in this season. The delivery timing is earlier than expected and the food still hot.

I love their putobumbong because it's really the original recipe of glutinous rice, sticky but i'm looking for more butter/margarine. It might be good if they put some flavour like cheese in this one. As im a cheesy person πŸ™‚

Their bibingka reminds me of the "pasalubong" of one of my housemates before when I was living in Singapore. It's not the typical bibingka that we can buy but it's the delicacy of those people in Northern Luzon or Ilocano. It is made of rice and not that so sweet, I like their toppings of macapuno but for sure the other flavor they serve is also good to try.

Their turon is not the typical turon, it's a fusion of nutty chocolate and the original ingredients of saba and langka. It's quite unique for me. I like the taste of it as I remember eating a chocnut with turon. I love to see another flavor for this with peanutbutter as we all know that banana and peanut butter is really one good match for breakfast or snack.

And they are environmental friendly too, i like their wooden "spork"

Borawan Island – a secret island in Quezon Province

Borawan Island is located at Padre Burgos, Quezon. It’s less than 30 minutes from our hometown in Agdangan, Quezon. And almost 5 hours away from Manila.

From the entry point at Padre Burgos, you can go for an island hopping in an hour at Borawan and Dampalitan Island. They named this island as Borawan with a combination of Boracay and Palawan, as they compared the color of the sand and the cliff that almost the same with this two tourist spots in the Philippines.

If you want to relax and want to try an island hopping that is nearby Manila, you can try this. I really love this trip. You can have a way to relax, swim and take beautiful photos with this nature.

And if you want to stay for a while or an overnight, you can try to check some of the resorts in a nearby towns of Agdangan and Unisan.
